SpaceX reported third-quarter revenue of $14.6 billion on Tuesday, up 161% from a year earlier and ahead of the $12.72 billion analysts expected, CNBC reported. Operating income was $2.8 billion, and net income was $4.4 billion, after a $1.05 billion net loss a year earlier. Its artificial-intelligence unit, called Super Intelligence, grew ninefold to $7.56 billion from $813 million and is now the largest business.

Elon Musk said both boards have formed committees to discuss combining SpaceX with Tesla. A committee is not an agreed merger, a cash payment, or a customer price cut. CNBC reported that SpaceX shares gained 8% after the results. The company announced no wage change and no change in what households pay for cars, internet service, or electricity.

Does the merger discussion pay shareholders or cut customer costs now? No. The established facts are the revenue results and a decision to talk. No merger terms, payment, or price cut were announced.
